Located in Riverside Church on the Thanet Way in Whitstable, Riverside Café is a friendly inclusive space that is good for everyone and aims to make anyone that crosses our threshold feel comfortable and welcome.

The cafe has two distinct areas, the top cafe which is light, bright and airy and can seat up to 60 people and the cosy lower lounge area which can accommodate up to 30 people. The lower lounge is often used for private family events like birthday celebrations and funeral wakes or businesses book it for staff and client lunches.
We have free on-site parking and full disabled access to our cafe space, as well as facilities for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
We also have free wi-fi on site to help you stay connected.
Passionate About Great Coffee
We’re passionate about our coffee and we work closely with our supplier ‘Lost Sheep Coffee’ to make sure you get a great cup of coffee every time.
Roasted and packed in their Kent roastery, Lost Sheep Coffee source their beans from some of the best producers around the world, that guarantee the farmers are treated and paid fairly.
We know that not everyone is as mad about coffee as we are and that you may have dietary requirements or just want to be healthy in your choices. We have a great selection of speciality teas as well as soft drinks, fresh fruit smoothies and milkshakes.
All our drinks can be made with dairy free milk on request. We also offer some sugar free syrups to add to your drinks if you are looking for a lower calorie option.
If you want to treat yourself we have a small selection of alcoholic and low alcohol drinks.
Easy Access
Riverside Café has full disabled access. With on site parking, ramps, handrails, disabled toilets and plenty of space to move around making it a great place for wheel chair users. If you require a different shaped mug to make drinking easier, a chair with arms, or if you have any other special requirements please let us know and we’d be happy to help. We aim to make everyone who visits us feel comfortable and looked after!
Family Friendly
Everyone in the family is welcome at Riverside. We are a breastfeeding-friendly cafe and have baby changing facilities as well as a kids toilet. With ramps and plenty of space to move, it is a perfect space for buggies and pushchairs. We also have multiple high chairs available for you to use.
We have a small children’s menu to order from, but if you have fussy eaters we will do our best to make something they will enjoy, just ask our friendly staff! We will happily cater for your children or warm their bottles if needed.
